At the heart of the town of Sandwich in Kent is the Guildhall, the focal point of both Modern Activities and Ancient Traditions.
The ancient court room, although no longer a court of law, is still the scene of traditional ceremonies and also a popular wedding venue.
There are many historical sites and places of interest in the town of Sandwich as it's history dates back to well before medieval times. Maps, booklets, leaflet and information can be obtained from the Tourist Information Centre, situated at the front of the Guildhall. Population 5,000
