Now in its fourth season, White Rose Polo Club has grown rapidly year on year, helping to put the thriving Yorkshire polo scene firmly on the map. The Summit Polo School, which is based on the same site at Townend Farm at North Cliffe, near Market Weighton, teaches hundreds of polo lessons each year, nurturing developing talent from across Yorkshire and beyond.
The club now has over 50 members of all ages, ranging from complete beginners to experienced polo players. The polo manager is Tony Wesche, a HPA (Hurlingham Polo Association) qualified coach from New Zealand. Tony is a highly respected horseman and polo coach, who has a wonderful approach to the sport. He is also an accomplished polo cross player. The White Rose Polo Club is also taking an increasing number of bookings or hen parties with a unique edge and businesses looking for the perfect way to reward and bond with their staff.
