The Lynton Guest House is situated in one of the best positions in Newquay, overlooking the 'Killacourt', an open grassed area for relaxing and the unique 'Island House' on Towan Beach. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with shaver points and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms are en suite and have a colour TV. This area lends it'self to the natural changing scenic atmosphere, from good sunbathingand beach games for all ages to the excitment of the high tides breaking beween the Island and the Headland. Its an inspirational part of holidays in Cornwall especially on the Nortn Coast. From our windows can be seen the coastline stretching to Trevose Head near Padstow some 12 mile away. Now well established in the Lynton we have attained a 3 star rating from Visit Cornwall who are held in high regard. All of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and colour televisions. We are centrally heated throughtout. The dining room is laid with seperate table for your comfort. All our guests have the necessary keys allowing you to come and go as you please. Free parking is limited but unrestriced parking is available on the Crescent. All cuisine is under the personal supervision of the proprietors and we endeavour to maintain a friendly service with plentiful food to give you an enjoyable holiday. The Newquay area boasts seven sandy beaches with world wide recognition for it's surfing championships. Less than 2 minutes from the Lynton is the town centre, with a good variety of shops, amusements, restaurants and pubsnightclubs. The coast path in either direction enhances the beauty of Cornwall and many short walks inland take you to outstanding countryside which the beach visitors often miss. The Gannel Estuary, Trenance Leisure Park, Zoo and boating lake are all within this category.
