This light and airy former florist has been converted into an elegant restaurant serving modern British classics. The food is bistro style, with brunch, lunch and dinner all inspired by the abundance of wonderful local produce available in Kent. We were proud to be shortlisted for the Taste of Kent awards in our first year of trading. Our fishmonger is situated right on the beach to meet the fishing boats as they come in and our butchers use fully traceable meat from local farms.
Come and try hearty dishes such as pigeon breast with marinated beetroot, apple and lardons, treacle glazed ham hock with pont neuf potatoes and crispy poached eggs and Rhubarb posset with stem ginger short bread. Complement your meal with a local Kentish wine from Chapel Down or Elham Valley Vineyard.
Alternatively you could pop in for a light lunch and try one of our Fish Specials such as Scallops on a bed of fennel with chorizo or sample something from our extensive Brunch menu. For the afternoons, we offer a luxurious Cream Tea and a selection of cakes.
On Sundays, we serve a Traditional Roast and offer a Set Menu with 2 courses for £15 or 3 courses for £18.
