The glass blowing demonstrations are an opportunity to witness, at close quarters and feel the heat of the furnace. See our calendar of events. Those with previous glass experience may see things that remind them of their past. So many do stop for a chat, reminiscing of their years in the great glass factorie Langhams, Dartington, Pilkington, and Waterford. With the closing of these factories the skills were lost. These conversations are valuable so please say hello.

The glass demonstrations run every hour over two or three days depending on the venue in workshop environment and offer introduction to glass making. The glassblowing examples we have put together show different glass making techniques. We combine this with strands of history from the experience you will quickly understand and gain a feel for working with molten glass and to learn the basics of glassblowing, under the guidance of a qualified glassworker. All the work is for sale so please to pick one up and buy it.

Our next show will be at Thame Country Show. We will be producing work every hour with a live commentary describing the techniques and skills as we entwine history, anecdotes, wit, inspiration and motivations that have fashioned our work over the last thirty years. Thame is a charming old market town in the county of Oxfordshire, close to the Chiltern Hills and is ideal as a base for visiting both the local area and the historic city of Oxford itself. The town has a cheery and colourful market and is held, by ancient Charter, on Tuesdays, including a Farmers' market every second Tuesday in the month. At the show there will be a number of attractions.
