The nineteenth century Wheatsheaf Inn is situated on the on the edge of the historic village of Cuckfield. The mainline station of Haywards Heath is a short distance away and offers an excellent service to London in under an hour. Gatwick Airport and the South Coast resort of Brighton are within easy access, together with the City of Chichester and many famous local attractions including Hickstead Showjumping, Wakehurst Place, Glyndebourne Opera House, Ardingly Showground and both Goodwood Racing Venues. We are central for both coastal and countryside excursions. The Wheatsheaf offers comfortable en-suite accommodation for your stay. The bedrooms are newly refurbished and all have Tea and Coffee making facilities, Televisions and Hairdryers. Our Bar and Lounge area is spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The walls are adorned with wonderful old prints of Cuckfield in days gone by and are of great interest to the locals. The very attractive Bar offers an excellent range of Real Ales and a good selection of fine Wines. The Bar is also the perfect place to relax and enjoy one of our Cocktails if that is your pleasure. Our sunny garden is a pleasant area in which to enjoy a meal, or just to relax over a drink.
