Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Kintyre Peninsula, Barmore Farm offers visitors a wonderful holiday at any time of the year. Once the home farm steading on the historic Stonefield Castle estate, these fine old stone built cottages have been lovingly restored. Clustered around a pretty landscaped courtyard, the attractive crow stepped gables are among many original early 19th century features which enhance their period charm and character. Set in 30 acres of countryside grounds, Barmore offers plenty of space for boules, badminton, football and a large, secure, children's games area. Sailing, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting can all be arranged, and the cottages are just 2 miles north of the fishing village of Tarbert on Loch Fyne, where there are shops, and a good choice of inns and restaurants.
