The Lambton Hounds is a family run 250-year-old coaching inn situated in the village of Pity Me, less than 2 miles from the city of Durham. With a congenial atmosphere and inviting fireplace, it is a popular local with a wide selection of both keg and cask-conditioned beers on offer. Relax in the cosy snug or enjoy a meal in our restaurant. In addition to our seven bedrooms we have a traditional bar with pool table, dartboard & jukebox and a relaxing beer garden. An interesting feature of our lounge bar is that it is taken from the cocktail bar of RMS Olympic, sister ship of the Titanic. The Lambton Hounds can provide an excellent base to explore the North East's most famous tourist attractions. We are conveniently placed with excellent park and ride facilities close by for easy access to the historic city of Durham.
