This tranquil and open valley provides walking routes to the Cheviot summit, the Schill, Red Cribs and Pennine Way .Cheviot View is a delightful bed & breakfast, which is well positioned in the heart of the market town Wooler. Known as "The Gateway to the Cheviots" Wooler has excellent opportunities for Walking and many other activities including fishing, tennis, rock climbing, cycling, horse riding & site seeing. There is also a friendly golf course which welcomes golf enthusiasts for 9 or 18 holes (depending on how energetic you are feeling!)Wooler is an excellent base for a holiday. The foothills with their quiet back-roads and bridleways are ideal for cycling and riding. Within a short car journey you can be on the magnificent Heritage coastline of North Northumberland with it's spectacular scenery of Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Lindisfarne, Seahouses and the famous Farne Islands. Alnwick Gardens and of course the Scottish Borders are all within easy travelling distance from Wooler on uncluttered country roads.In the morning our hearty Northumbrian breakfast will keep you going forthe day. For evening meals we can recommend many local inns &restaurants all within walking distance.We offer a drying room for your clothes & boots so if you have been out walking there is no need to worry about getting your items dry.PLEASE NOTE: Check In is from 16:00 to 21:00.
