The Old George is a 16th century inn located in the quaint and historic coaching town of Stony Stratford. We have recently been taken over by new owners, and have maintained our reputation as a welcoming family run business. Our new menu consists of locally sourced produce and we have a range of daily specials, and roast dinners all day Sundays. We have various live music events taking place through the week and at weekends (please call us if you would like further information about these). We have a selection of real ales and a guest ale in our beautiful beamed bar, as well as a range of lagers, bottled ciders, alco pops and soft drinks.

The Old George is situated in the heart of Stony Stratford which is known as 'the jewel of Milton Keynes' and whilst Milton Keynes is one of the fastest growing new cities in Britain, Stony Stratford has retained its character as a lively market town. It has a long and fascinating history and original and often 'quirky' architecture. Conveniently Milton Keynes train station and the M1 are just a 10 minute drive/taxi ride away from the town.

The Old George is a cozy, welcoming, and convenient base from which to discover this unique area, and whether you love to shop, eat, drink, relax, or discover our history, we can help you do it all!
