The University of York, set in over 200 acres of mature parklands around a central lake, allows for a relaxing and refreshing stay. Wentworth College is located on the west side of the campus and offers budget accommodation for visitors to York and the surrounding areas. Located just outside the city centre it provides an excellent base for excursions to the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, surrounding towns and villages, and has excellent public transport links into York city centre.
All rooms have ensuite shower and toilet, and are provided with a television, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities. Full English and continental breakfast is served Monday - Friday mornings in the Edge Restaurant. Breakfast on a weekend is a continental 'breakfast-in-a-box' selection which can be found in the fridge in the room.
