Welcome to The Bark House, with cosy cottage style accommodation, set in the Exe Valley just six miles south of Dulverton, on the edge of Exmoor. The location is ideal for a weekend away or a short break to explore Devon, Somerset and even further afield in the West Country. Within easy reach of the Bark House you can enjoy the countryside activities of fishing, horse riding, water sports and walking plus a great range of picturesque villages, gardens and historic buildings. Within easy reach of the Bark House are a variety of organised activity centres, as well as the moorland with wide open spaces. At Exebridge there is a fly fishing school, at Wimbleball a water sports centre, and throughout Exmoor a variety of Pony Trekking Centres. The Exmoor Safari company offers a great day out to explore the countryside. All our first floor bedrooms look over the Exe valley and are decorated in a cottage style. Each room has an en suite shower, or private bath room, colour television, telephone and hot beverage facilities. The tarrif depends on the size of the bedroom.
