Aberfeldy is situated amid some of Scotland's most breathtaking scenery. Balnearn House can be found close to the "Birks o Aberfeldy" where there are wonderful walks through the Moness Glen. On the edge of the town, the River Tay flows under General Wade's bridge built in 1733. At one point in history it was the only bridge fording the River Tay which contributed to the town's importance.
