Undoubtedly the best urban location in Europe to watch wildlife, the London Wetland Centre offers a beautiful and relaxing escape from city life. Thousands of wild birds flock to this 43ha wildlife haven each year, with its attractive lakes, reedbeds and pools, and can be watched easily from special hides including a 3-storey tower with a lift for wheelchair access.

Our modern visitor centre includes a restaurant with stunning views across the reserve, Discovery centre for children, Art Gallery, Observatory, Gift Shop and different thatched buildings where you can learn about wetlands. Come and experience nature close-up without getting your feet muddy!
