Twenty Seven B&B is a friendly business nestling in the small village of Kielder; providing B&B accommodations all year round.
Kielder is probably the most tranquil place in England; with acres of open moors; forest & water to explore and some of the best dark skies in the country. Plenty of clean fresh air & delicious spring water to complement the outdoor activities you try.
Kielder is a great arena for outdoor pursuits; whether following up on your sport or pastime; or trying something new; we can guide you in the right direction. Just a few of these activities include: walking; orienteering and running; cycling and mountain biking; mountaineering and climbing; water sports; hunting/shooting; fishing or golf.
Nearby attractions:
Kielder Castle Forestry Visitor centre; Deadwater Singletrack mountain bike trails; Kielder Salmon Hatchery tours; Kielder Art & Architecture; Kielder Birds of Prey Centre; NWL visitor centre and many more.
Twenty Seven is an ideal base to explore further afield: Alnwick Gardens & Castle (1.5 hr); Hadrian's Wall forts and path (45 mins); Northumberland coast and castles (2 hr); Scottish border towns (45 mins).
After a busy day make a welcome return to your own haven where you will find a comfortable dining room/lounge with TV; kick off your shoes & relax and get warm in the snug with a wood burning stove. Your bedroom comes complete with complimentary tea/coffee facilities; TV; towels and toiletries.
If evening meals are to become part of the package then these can be shared with other travellers allowing new relationships to be created and old ones enriched.
Just across the road; is the Village Store selling almost all you could need 7 days a week. The Anglers Arms is only 5 minutes walk away; offers good pub grub; real ales and fine wines; both at lunch time and in the evening.
