Welcome to the Rock and Fountain Hotel, a 3* attractive, comfortable accommodation perfectly based from which visitors can explore the rich heritage of the area.
The Hotel is situated in the Clydach gorge, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Gorge is famous for its 18th century iron works and is ideally situated for walking the many footpaths in the area. The Gorge is also a place of natural beauty with tremendous views everywhere. The hotel is in close proximity to: Llangorse Lake, Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre, Dan yr Ogof Showcaves, Big Pit Mining Museum and Brecon Mountain Railway. The market town of Abergavenny is 5 miles away with interesting shops and museum. Golf, fishing, pony trekking and canal boating can be arranged.
All rooms are ensuite and well equipped. We boast a well proportioned bar and restaurant, a natural mountain stream runs through the restaurant adding real charm to the dining area.
