Located in the village of Churchinford in the Parish of Churchstanton, The York Inn sits 10 miles equal distance to Taunton, Honiton and Chard. This small, mainly farming village is designated an area of "outstanding natural beauty" and more recently "environmentally sensitive".

The York Inn is a traditional hostelry dating back, in some parts, to the 16th century, with open fireplace, oak beams and yet offers contemporary facilities.
