Chutney Raj restaurant in London is the only Central London restaurant specializing in Bengali/Bangladeshi fish dishes. With roopchanda, bowal, ayre and bas flown in fresh from the East, the chefs create the sort of authentic dishes that bring tears to the eyes of émigrés. It's a small eaterie that seems unassuming in its bright décor and friendly, casual ambience. But high-fliers from the inns of court and ITN across the street fill the place, as does Archbishop Desmond Tutu whenever he's in town. Great lunch specials, too.
