Brian and Julie welcome you to relax, refresh and revive at their two hundred year old victorian cottage overlooking Loch Ryan watching the ferries old and new sail in and out of their harbours at Cairnryan and Stranraer, as you dine from a healthy and hearty breakfast menu. Breakfast selections include juice, grapefruit segments, cereals, yoghurts, prunes and porridge followed by either a full cooked breakfast, scrambled egg on toast or bacon,lettuce and tomato on ciabatta, all washed down with cafffeinated and decaffinated teas, coffees,cappuccino and herb teas, and topped off with white or wholemeal toast with butter and preserves.
Ailsa cottage has been recently refurbished with fresh, new en-suite rooms with either loch or garden views and well stocked refreshment trays including a selection of teas, coffees, biscuits and bottled spring water. Every effort is made to ensure the comfort of guests and the enjoyment of their stay.
Local attractions include beautiful garden centres, excellent nearby golf courses and doorstep fishing opportunities.
