A short trip over the Sandbanks Chain Ferry by car, bus or bike leads you to the picturesque town of Swanage and its newest Bar-Restaurant "Ocean Bay". Spectacularly situated on Swanage North Beach overlooking the sea it also has eight moorings if you prefer to travel by boat. We operate a water taxi to bring you ashore (please call for availability). This fabulous modern style restaurant boasts oak floors, a solid Purbeck Stone bar, funky leather chairs and flamboyant art on the walls. There is plenty of window seating to admire the views and the relaxed atmosphere gives a sense of holiday, day or night. An ideal location for sun worshipers, you can sit on the terrace over the beach with Champagne or Cocktail, lunch with fresh Lobster or Crab and a glass of Chablis from our extensive wine list, with carefully chosen House Wines to fine and rare Chateau Lynch Bages 1978 all palates are satisfied. Drawing on local produce for its Menus there are interesting dishes with fresh fish, seafood or meats, vegetarian options and special dietary requirements catered for, and party menus available to suit your function. Ocean Bay is rapidly becoming a landmark destination and celebrating its first anniversary.
