The Pavilion Nicknamed "The Big House" by the locals, due to its' three storeys, The Pavilion Bar draws its clientelle from all over the city and beyond. The Public Bar on the ground floor is a long hall bar with wooden panelling and high ornate ceilings. Its long thin shape lends to an intimate atmosphere, giving it a reputation for being one of the best places to watch live sports on its many plasma screens. On the weekend enjoy a dance & sing along with our resident DJs Brian McAuley on a Friday or John E. on a Saturday night. The Middle Bar with Gothic Oak interiors provides excellent acoustics for live entertainment hosting an eclectic mix that has ranged from Indie, Punk, Metal, Soul and Blues etc. to Burlesque and Prom nights. During Saturday and Sunday afternoons the Middle Bar becomes a non-smoking family restaurant where customers can choose from an extensive menu that provides quality food and wines at very affordable prices. The Pool Room on the top floor has six well maintained pool tables, two plasma screens and a jukebox, allowing the punters to decide on their own entertainment. Every Saturday there are alternative clubs from 9pm. It also is host to the Pool Competition every Tuesday night.
