More Information

The Camelot is an exceptional 24 en suite bedroom hotel situated overlooking the Bude Golf Course. It is a 3* AA hotel (74%) and was 2004 Cornwall Hotel of the Year Finalist. Our aim is to be the best quality three-star hotel in the West of England, offering warm hospitality, fine food and accommodation at prices that represent remarkable value for money.

The Camelot is furnished, decorated and maintained to the highest standards. Our spacious, tasteful and comfortable bar and lounge open onto decking surrounded by shrubs and flowers. The fully stocked bar keeps flexible hours and there is a games room with pool, darts and table tennis.

Each of our elegantly decorated and en-suite bedrooms is equipped with controllable heating, colour TV, modem point, direct-dial telephone, tea-making facilities and hairdryer. The very comfortable beds and pillows ensure a restful night’s sleep.

Hawkers Restaurant, named after a famous local character Parson Hawker, has established a reputation for fine dining in the area and holds two RAC Dining Awards. The absence of a public bar licence ensures that hotel guests and visiting diners can enjoy a friendly and ‘club-like’atmosphere.

Golfing holidays are a speciality and our experienced staff arrange golfing programmes and tee times for individuals, groups and societies, many of whom return year after year. As well as the fine Bude links course there are a further 14 courses within an hour’s drive of the hotel.

Man's love is of man's life a part; it is a woman's whole existence. In her first passion, a woman loves her lover, in all the others all she loves is love. - Lord Byron
