Welcome to Fair Rigg, a simple, traditional bed and breakfast guest house in Bowness-on-Windermere, where resident owners Ian and Christine Crane provide stylish accommodation of a standard at least equal to, even exceeding, that of many a highly rated hotel, at a fraction of the price.
The house enjoys a country setting, and yet remains within easy walking distance of Bowness and the shore of Lake Windermere. Designed to take full advantage of its hillside location, the house has fine views, with most rooms looking out over fields and trees to the lake and fells beyond.
Fair Rigg has 6 bedrooms, 5 doubles and a twin, 1 is on the ground floor, all are designed to lift your spirits, light, fresh, clean and of good size, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. Just right for spending the evening in. Each room is individually decorated and furnished in carefully co-ordinated style, with comfortable chairs or settee, and equipped with flat screen tv/dvd combi, hairdryer, toiletries and of course the usual hospitality tray.
