Lichfield’s General Markets on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday are organised and operated by Lichfield City Council and its appointed Markets Officer. The City has held a Market Charter since 1153 and the City Council is proud to continue this tradition in the 21st century, providing a wide selection of stalls for residents and visitors alike.

The Producers’ Market, held on the first Sunday of every month (except January) is operated by CJ’s Events under licence to Lichfield City Council and provides a variety of stalls that may include meats, gluten-free products, cakes, jams and preserves, cheeses, baked goods, honey, desserts, wines, real ales, confectionary, spices and locally produced arts and crafts.

Located in the heart of the City, visitors to Lichfield Market will find easy access to local museums, Lichfield Cathedral, the Garrick Theatre, Three Spires Shopping Centre and the wide variety of City Centre shops, cafés and entertainment venues that are nearby.

If you wish to enquire about trading on the market, please contact markets@lichfield.gov.uk
