A beautifully situated, award-winning country guesthouse set in 15 acres of private grounds and nestling amidst the lovely Shrophsire Highlands where a stroll from the house can provide some of the most stunning views in England. Once a crofter's cottage dating back at least 200 years and now extended to provide luxurious and peaceful accommodation, there are inglenook fireplaces, beamed ceilings and spacious lounges with comfortable deep sofas and easy chairs.

Our spacious en-suite bedrooms are delightfully furnished in period décor and all have magnificent views. For a romantic interlude our Wedding Suite is furnished around a splendidly carved seventeenth century French Wedding Bed and other rooms boast a king-size gothic bedstead and 1940s Italian boudoir suite. Ground floor rooms are also available. Our excellent English breakfast is served in our Jacobean style dining room, where guests sit together around one large table and in the summer, cream teas are served in the conservatory or outside in the large plantswoman's garden.

Family run, Jinlye has a friendly and home-from-home atmosphere, where guests are assured of a warm welcome.
