Now open following an extensive restoration and refurbishment the White Hart Royal Hotel, in the centre of the Cotswold town of Moreton in Marsh, offers 4 star comfort and luxury at 3 star prices. The White Hart Royal Hotel was a 17th century coaching inn whose reputation was enhanced when King Charles I sheltered overnight there following the battle of Marston Moor. Some of the 28 ensuite rooms have been lovingly furnished with 17th,18th and 19th century furniture while others have been furnished in contemporary styles incorporating a variety of colour schemes. The hotel contains many artifacts and has been beautifully furnished throughout to maintain its old world charm while offering guests 21st century facilities. Our menu offers a locally sourced, traditional English á la carte menu or classic pub food in the Courtyard restaurant, or Snug Bar with its Inglenook fireplace. Alternatively, the hotel’s management encourages guests to enjoy a meal or simply relax in one of the hotel’s lounges.
