THE MERMAID with a large garden with wonderful, unhindered views for miles and a secure garden with play area for families and is just a minute or so from the town.
We have just recently redecorated having just taken over this lovely pub. We have a restaurant open everyday and through the evening serving traditional foods for all tastes, we have a great selection of local beers, wines, spirits and lots more.

A brand new skittles alley has been built to cater for teams (to book please) or for the kids and parents to have some fun. Sherbourne is indeed one of the most beautiful towns in England with medieval buildings, a superb Abbey, world famous schools, picturesque Almshouses, a new Castle and Old castle too, there is so much to offer all visitors. Ideally located on the Dorset and Somerset border there are excellent transport links. Sir Walter Raleigh fell in love with sherborne, tried to modernise the Old Castle but in 1594 built a mansion in the grounds instead and now called Sherborne Castle.

Please do google for lots more information on our wonderful town. We welcome you with smile and thankyou for looking at this listing, please call should you like any further info. Regards Roy & Ellie
