Henllys Courthouse is peacefully located on the banks of the River Conwy, close to the shops and other attractions of Betws-y-coed. As the name suggests the building once served as the towns police station & magistrates court. The building has been sympathetically restored & refurbished and still contains many of its original features.

The majority of the individually styled and decorated guest bedrooms were formerly judges' chambers and magistrates' rooms, whilst the smallest bedroom was originally a single cell. Curiously, this is the most popular room with guests, as the cell door helps to recall days when the room did not share the popularity of today! Ground floor bedrooms are also available.

A distinctive, cosy, galleried dining room is where you will enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast in what used to be the courtroom. All meals are prepared from the freshest ingredients and you can enjoy them in our non-smoking environment.

Soak up the atmosphere of the lounge, inspired by the previous incarnation of the building. Previously the main entrance to the police station it now houses an array of police badges and hats from around the world.

Away from the madding crowd, the riverside garden with its abundance of wildflowers is the perfect setting in which to while away a sunny afternoon.
