The White Lion Inn at Bourton represents all the very best that a traditional Dorset Inn has to offer. Built in 1726 the beautiful old building offers a warm welcome in a comfortable and relaxing environment. We have two beautifully appointed double rooms full of character, offering en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and television. Our comfortable and atmospheric bar offers a chance to relax with friends and family over a drink or two, sit by the open fires and on fine days take a seat outside to enjoy the beautiful and relaxing gardens. Choose from our excellent range of real ales, lagers and traditional ciders, as well as a full selection of fine wines and spirits. Our new team in the Kitchen has put together an imaginative and varied menu from established pub favorites to more exotic dishes. We source fresh, local ingredients and have full traceability on all our meat. You are welcome to sample our menu in the newly refurbished restaurant or in the bar, wherever you are most comfortable. Whether you just need a bed for the night on a business trip to the area, or you are looking for a relaxing weekend away, come and stay and enjoy our hospitality. A splendid cooked breakfast is a guaranteed part of the deal!
