Beautifully positioned at the head of the Fal Estuary, the estate commands panoramic views of the area and has extensive park and woodland walks beside the river. At the heart of the estate is the tranquil garden, set on many levels and contains a superb collection of tender and exotic plants from around the world, which bring colour throughout the year. Views from the garden over the River Fal and the King Harry Ferry. The displays of spring flowering plants are particularly stunning. The house is not open, but there is an art gallery displaying arts and crafts produced and inspired in Cornwall. There are also two restaurants and a gift shop, in the plant sales area is a huge selection of plants produced in the Trust's own nursery at Lanhydrock. There are five holiday cottages to rent on the estate, cottage booking on +44 (0)870 458 4422.
