The Maes-y-Gwernen Hotel is a friendly four star hotel nestling beneath the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. All rooms are ensuite with satellite tv, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone, modem connection and refreshment facilities. The room rates include access to the sauna, jacuzzi and gym facilities. There is ample car parking and garden/patio areas for guests to enjoy.

We have a family chalet in the garden, which comfortably houses 2 adults and 2 children and also has a small sitting room. We also have deluxe rooms; a waterbed room with balcony and jacuzzi bath, 2 fourposters and a garden chalet. The restaurant offers a wide range of a la carte options and is open every evening from 7-9 pm.

From September 2004 the restaurant will be changing to a vegetarian/vegan only menu and offering a range of detox courses, personal development courses and various therapies.

The hotel is ideally placed to visit the Brecon National Park; the world famous Dan-yr-Ogof caves are only 15 minutes away, as is the Craig-y-Nos Castle and Country Park. Swansea and the beautiful Gower peninsula are also within easy travelling distance.

Additional facilities:
*sauna
