The tiny hamlet of Hubberholme straddles the river Wharfe beneath the rising fells of Langstrothdale: with its beautiful 12th century church and The George Inn made famous by J B Priestley as 'his favourite watering hole', it is a haven of peace and tranquility at any time of the year.
The George Inn - thick stone walls, stone flagged floors, mullioned windows and a welcoming open fire, with comfortable bedrooms and good home cooked food, wonderful walking country all around, what better place for an 'away-from-it-all' break?
