Situated at the corner of Ashknowle Lane and Whitwell High Street, the Old Rectory is within easy reach of the Church, the Post Office, and the historic White Horse Inn - famous for their wonderful food. The town of Ventnor is about two miles away, and Newport, the centre of the Island, approximately eight miles. The well sign-posted footpaths lead in all directions, and the Island cycle route passes our gateway.

The present owners, who acquired the property in 1999, have upgraded the house to provide high quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Our spacious en-suite bedrooms are traditional in style, with beautiful antique furniture. However, modern requirements have not been forgotten, and television, video, refrigerator, kettle and hairdryer are provided in your room.

Washing, drying and ironing facilities are available on request. We have a large, pleasant sitting-room, and the acre of garden provides a secluded area, with garden chairs and sunbeds, in which to relax.
