Appuldurcombe House was once the grandest and most striking house on the Isle of Wight, and its 18th century baroque elegance is still notable today in its partly restored building. You can stroll peacefully in the 11 acres of ornamental grounds designed by 'Capability Brown'. A perfect place for a picnic.

The Owl & Falconry Centre, set up is in the imaginatively restored Servants Quarters, has flying displays daily, featuring birds of prey and owls from around the world. There is an excellent shop, a cafée for light refreshments and a newly restored barn for indoor displays in poor weather.

Coaches welcome.
