The Plough Hotel is situated on the edge of the village of Crossens and sits at the beginning of the marine drive (coastal Road) and is one of the oldest buildings in the village. The pub has recently been modified but still retains all of its character, the Landlord and Landlady Jack and Jackie took over the pub in December. Jacks family have used the pub for Hundreds of years, so local knowledge is always available. The Marine drive is also the start of a very large Bird sanctuary, over the marsh land and view points are only a short walk away.

The town of Southport is a 5 minute drive up the coast road and you can shop till you drop on Lord St. Southport is also a golfers paradise and has several excellent golf courses including Royal Birkdale. Liverpool is only a 15min train ride away where you can find the home of the grand national, The Albert dock, The Cavern and lots more. Both Jack and Jackie and all the regulars at The Plough Hotel are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our great town.
