The Merchants House is a friendly family-run establishment, situated in the picturesque village of Cairnryan. Ferries depart from Cairnryan to Northern Ireland. We are positioned 1/2 mile from P&O ferry terminal and less than a mile from brand new Stena ferry terminal. We have a licensed 20-cover restaurant and a small, cosy, well-stocked bar on the ground floor. Evening meals are available in our restaurant from 6.30pm - 9.30pm.
Our menu features a wide variety of home-cooked meals, using fresh local produce, where possible. Snacks and home-made soups etc are also available in the bar for those wishing a lighter alternative. We have three guest bedrooms on first floor, two of which are en-suite and have sea views. The third guest bedroom is at the rear of the property and has a shared bathroom. Breakfasts are available from 6.15am for guests wishing to catch the 7.30am ferry and are served until 9.15am.
