We are a family run Guest House situated near to the town centre of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Built in 1890 our semi detached Victorian house is the only all red brick built (with stone features) in town, distinctive from the limestone walled buildings. 3 double en-suite spacious rooms with WiFi connection, Free car parking on site for 6 vehicles, Located in the Peak District National Park 3 minutes walk to town centre, Restaurants and local bars, Quiet cul-de-sac, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall nearby.

The Avenue can be found directly off the A6 on the south side of town, opposite the park. Being a private cul-de-sac, the house enjoys a quieter than normal atmosphere. We have on site parking for 6 vehicles. We are within 3 minutes walk of the town centre and shops. Local attractions include Chatsworth home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire; Haddon Hall home of Lord and Lady Edward Manners and location for the Jane Eyre film. Local activities include climbing Froggart Edge; exploring Ladybower and Derwent reservoirs in the Derwent Valley; walking in the Peak District National Park; discovering the plague village of Eyam; visiting the Peak Rail museum at Matlock and many many more. Room 1 is a double with en-suite bathroom. Room 2 is a double with en-suite shower room and overlooks the golf course. Room 3 is a double with en-suite bathroom and overlooks the church. All rooms have television and tea/coffee making facilities. These are all at first floor level (there is no lift access) with the dining room at ground floor. Ironing facilities can be provided on request.
