Heale Garden is Eight acres of beautiful garden, which lie beside the river Avon, at Middle Woodford, just north of Salisbury. In January great drifts of snowdrops and aconites bring early colour and this promise of spring is followed by magnificent magnolias and acers that surround the authentic Japanese Coffee House and red Niko Bridge. The garden provides a wonderfully varied collection of plants, shrubs, musk and other roses, a working kitchen garden, all growing in the formal setting of lovely clipped Yew hedges and mellow stonework and particularly lovely in June and July. As summer turns to Autumn, Cyclamen, Nerines and Viburnums are in flower and trees and shrubs in the Japanese Garden display their brilliant autumnal foliage before leaf fall and the start of winter flowering shrubs and Hellebores.
