Good Points: Simple warm and cost effective Bad Points: No late night entry facility despite note in room sayin there was one. Slight curry smell through upper floors coudl be unsettling, yet understand why. General review: I will certainly book again next year. Lovely Breakfast

Web site very good for selling, but useless for finding out about Disabled Access and parking. It may well be one of their priorities with lots of helpful staff and a great attitude, but why not tell us about it? !!

The outside appearance of this pub is scruffy and there are old rusting vans in the carpark. Inside it is a typical bar with worn, stained carpet. Our bedroom was on the second floor and very small. The carpet was badly marked, but superficially the room looked ok. The furniture was tacky, both to look at and to touch. I opened a drawer and found it full of crisps. The bedside clock was covered in grease and when I picked it up to try and hide it from view, there were hairs underneath. The shower room is tiny and had mould around the base. The bedlinen seemed clean, but had cigarette burns. Worst aspect was the thin walls, so in the night I could hear every time the men on either side got up to go to the loo; and could hear them very clearly. The breakfast was excellent and the girls were great. There is a Balti house attached and that was useful. Really though this place should be cleaned up and not advertised until it is.

Me and my boyfriend really enojoyed our stay one weekend in march 07. The girls who served breakfast were fantastic, very polite and the breakfast was beautiful..(compliments to the chef:) ) Good value, polite bar staff and very nice atmosphere. We will stay again when in polesworth. The only thing i would complain about is the rooms could do with brighting up a little bit apart from that which could easily be resolved we had a fantastic time and stay.

Absolutly appalling, the rooms are in a shocking state. The wallpaper was hanging of the wall, the bathroom was filthy with mould and I would'nt let a dog sleep in the the bed that was offered. This hotel should be removed from the website or better still the planet.
