The Hawk and Buckle; A little gem tucked away in the Welsh countryside. The owners Helen and Rod extend a warm welcome and sit you down by the log fire for a refreshing cold drink or pot of tea. The views are spectacular here, pink skies in the afternoon. Peace and quiet we can only dream of in the city! The food is excellent all local produce and meat reared in nearby farms. Our room was spotlessly clean with a disco jacuzzi (coloured lights and room for 4!). The panoramic view in the morning left me spellbound. Bed linen was crisp and clean with just washed aroma. I left the inn feeling relaxed and rested. We went for walks and took in the nature and air. Would recommend this inn 100%. Helen is a joy and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, cereals and large cooked breakfast, organic eggs and bacon of course. Shall be visiting again very soon. Thanks. Gayna Attreed.

lovely quiet country inn. Very friendly proprietors, and brilliant young staff. nothing is too much trouble for these people, from a welcome tray of tea on arrival. The food is excellent, nice breakfast and an extensive lunchtime and evening menu. We cannot recommend this inn highly enough and we will definitly be back.
