I purchased a takeaway from the Princess rose while on holiday at Cameron House Lodges. The quality of the food was very very poor. From placing my order to leaving the restaurant was 3 minutes. Not even the most compitent kitchen could have prepared a fresh quality meal in that time. The meal was only look warm. i imagine the dishes were pepared well in advance and had been sitting in a inefficient heater. The price was far from reasonable, even if the food had been ok it was still overpriced. The same order from my local takeaway would have been £10 less but 100% better quality. This place is ripping you off because of its location and not for quality service and food. Avoid the Princess rose and go to Macdonalds next door. Junk yes, but value for money.

Went to the Princess Rose tonight for a meal. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our meal which was full of flavour and very well presented. The service was exceptional,very polite and friendly and reasonably priced. If we ever visit Balloch/Loch Lommond again we would definately eat there again.
