Wonderfully cosy hotel in a most picturesque setting. It's a great place to spend a long week-end, especially in the summer. You can have tea on the terrace and relax in the lounge before or after dinner (also has a fireplace, so would be great in winter). The staff was very friendly and attentative and the rooms beautiful, clean and comfortable. The only slight disappointment was the food. Certainly very edible, but not terribly imaginative for the price and the chef was too heavy handed with the cream. But it was lovely to retire to the lounge/library after dinner for a night cap (or two) without having to drive anywhere. I definitely recommend this hotel.
