I am a site warden on a sheltered housing scheme in Hessle. Today a group of my residents joined a trip with another group from a nearby sheltered housing scheme to go to The Wellington Oak. They came back bitterly disapointed. The food was cold and not very good.They and other people around them were so cold, due to no central heating being on,that they had to wear their coats all the time. This is unacceptable and spoilt what should have been an enjoyable trip out.They enjoyed the entertainment and bingo but because of the cold room and cold food they say they won't go back again.As pensioners they don't go on many trips out and had been looking forward to it.
