I have visited the pub a few times over the the years however since I believe the pub has been taken over I feel there has been a marked down turn in the quality and level of customer service.
The food appeared to be not much better than ready meal quality and this coupled with poor customer service has made my recent visit the worst meal I have had to date.
I later sent an e-mail to complain to which I never recieved a reply.
All in all very disappointing and won’t be returning again, there are a number of resturants nearby and these far exceed what The Waveney has to offer.

This pub is absolutely first rate. Has a friendly comfortable public bar with pool table and a main bar. The food in this pub is plentiful and excellent and the beers are really first rate.
The MOST impressive thing about this pub though, is it's staff, who are a team of young, polite, hard working and efficient people. They manage to deal with the locals and visitors with good humour and charm and make us all feel welcome. HIGHLY recommended!
