This hotel is a gem not to be missed. It is perfectly situated because it is only a 2 minute walk into town, and is still far enough away from the town centre pubs and 2 minute stroll from the sea front. Unlike other hotels I have stayed in the whole relaxed, yet professional attitude came as a pleasant surprise. The free WiFi broadband is also a superb addition, although we were on the top floor and as such the connection strength was a bit limited but there would be nothing to stop you wandering down to the big tv lounge and browsing from in there. When I booked the hotel, price was a consideration and as this was significantly cheaper than other hotels in the area, I have to say it is a bargain and anyone wanting to stay in the Whitley Bay area, must give this hotel a look. I will definately be going back.
