Clarence House has all the friendliness that only small B&Bs can provide. Our room was simply furnished but comfortable and immaculately clean, including the bijou en-suite. There were nice extra touches like the bottles of mineral water in addition to the usual tea and coffee in our room, posh toilet paper(!) and a rose for the ladies on Valentine's day. Owing to special dietary requirements we had brought some of our own food, which the hosts were happy to prepare as part of our breakfast. Breakfast itself was a great opportunity to chat to other guests around the table, and also to Margi (is there ANY subject she isn't interested in?!) The location is convenient, even if you are reliant on public transport during your stay, as we were. Our stay was off-season, but even so our room was surprisingly quiet considering that we were on the ground floor and right by the main road. We would most definitely consider staying at Clarence House again if we are back in the area and wish Graeme and Margi all the success which they deserve.
