We stayed in this hotel/BB and the weather was freezing cold outside. Despite this the hotel was lovely and warm and the room lovely. the breakfast was exceptional and we were made very welcome. Highly recommend this hotel which has easy access to lyme as it is on the high street.

Really disappointing! Very noisy traffic noise. Windows do not close properly and rattle, run with condensation and let all the noise from the road into the room. The curtain is a simple blind and so does not shut out any noise or darken the room properly for sleep. This hotel says that all rooms have mineral water, treats tray, luxury toiletries, safes. This is not true. We didn't even have a packet of biscuits to call a treat. The web site suggests a wide ranging breakfast menu. We were offered fruit, cereal and a fry up - not given a menu to choose. The owners dog came into the dining room and was hauled back to the kitchen where our breakfast was being cooked - not good hygiene! All in all the hotel makes out it is 'boutique'. The furnishings are good but that's where it ends.
