Our first visit since the refurbishment, and we were pleasantly suprised a contemporary design with friendly knowledgeable staff. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and couldn't be faulted. I've already booked your next evening there

I have just returned from a few days in Dover where I stayed at The Marquis in Alkham. I had booked the Collard room which was spotless with chic décor and everything you would need to make you feel welcome from tea and coffee facilities, mineral water to large LCD TV. The en suite was spotless as well with roll top bath and a large separate shower cubical and a selection of toiletries.
The food in the restaurant was excellent great breakfast and superb dinner. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant.
This must be one of the best hotels in England with five star accommodation and service at a very reasonable price.
