I booked my parents in to this B&B recently when they were visiting and was not at all happy with it. They arrived after a long flight from NZ to the most underwhelming welcome I've come across in the hospitality industry - and that's after we managed to find the place as it has no sign outside. The owner was unfriendly throughout their stay and made no effort to assist them, even wanting cash up front the night they arrived. The room was tiny, overstuffed with furniture so there was little room for bags etc. The shower was unclean and the bathroom tiny. The breakfast provided was left in the room each day - a cup of cereal each with some milk, and some bread to toast (using the toaster stacked on the microwave - which then caused the fire alarm to sound each day). Not a good experience, I would not recommend it.

I booked my parents in to stay here and they did not have a good experience at all. The owner was at all times unfriendly and unhelpful, making no effort to make them feel welcome. They didn't realise he took cash only and when they didn't have the money up-front, as he demands, they felt pressured them to make a special trip to get it ASAP. There is no parking, despite what it says on the website. The location is superb and the accommodation would be acceptable, but for the attitude of the owners. There is no sign outside which is irritating when trying to find it. If the owners were friendlier it would be a perfect place to stay but as it is there is no way I would recommend it, and no way they'll be staying there when they come back.
