My wife Ema and myself and our good friends John and Joan Darlow spent four lovely nights at Ye Olde Bowling Green recently. We were well looked after by Jez and Karen and their very friendly staff. Our accomodation was excellent and could not be faulted and the food served was always delicious and tasty. The views from the pub and rooms was breathtaking and is certainly worth a visit. It was our first visit to the Peak District and we were not disappointed it is certainly avery lovely area.We will definitely visit the Peak District again and almost certainly Ye Olde Bowling Green Inn at Bradwell. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Jez and Karen for making our stay at The Bowling Green Inn a wonderfull weekend break. We used this as our base whilst visiting the Chatsworth Country Fair. The room was excellent and the food and service was ten out of ten. We have already booked again in December to visit Castleton for the Xmas lights etc. Oh forgot to mention i did stay here a couple of years ago when the previous landlord had it and must say what a difference Jez and Karen have made, well done you too and all the best for the future, see you soon. Jason.

Ye Olde Bowling Green Inn is now under new management as of July 10th 2009. We have been a local family for 10 years, hoping to restore the potential of the pub. We offer a great traditional pub menu with alternating specials. Our current signature dishes are our Homemade 'Desperate Dan Pies' and our Homemade lasagne! We also have a selection of quality hand pulled ales, good wines and a well stocked bar. Our staff and locals offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We have 6 ensuite rooms available, which have recently been revamped so you can enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. Our beer garden also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The garden room also offers the same breathtaking scenery. In the last month locals and visitors alike have complemented our efforts tremendously; the pub is busy and bursting with its old charm once again. Come and give us a try. We look forward to seeing you! www.yeoldebowlinggreen.webs.uk
